Delayed reconstruction and radiation

I had my chemo, all of the radiation recommended...had to wait almost a year for skin to heal from radiation before I could start the reconstructive process, but it all went well. my doctor did the flap from the back. I had an expander put in. as soon as I get to the size I want, He will put in an implant . Personally, I would not put off any treatment because of reconstruction...you life saving treatments are most important. Sherri
