20 mg vs 40 mg Tamoxifen

Have anybody read if 40 mg is more effective than 20 mg...

My doctor want me to go to 40 mg because I still have my period. But I want to stay on 20 mg because of the SE. And I have read that higher dosis doesn't give higher effects....

    Many women continue to have regular periods on Tamoxifen. My gynecologist told me about a third of women have regular periods, a third have irregular, a third have none. I would think regular periods are good because it allows the uterine lining to shed. I have not heard of women taking 40 mg, but what do I know.
