I had my exchange surgery on October 11th. It's less than a week post op, but yes I am concerned. It's over the muscle, silicone. I had a BMX in August.

Under my scar where the lymph nodes were removed, it feels lumpy. I'm not sure if I should be concerned. Also under my left breast I have two pea sized round lumps. Wondering if I should be worried about this as well? I'm just not sure about the whole thing. I feel like I have two stress balls on my chest...you know the squishy balls for your hands? Also, i think its called rippling...changing indentations in both breasts. Ugh. I'm wondering if I'll ever be ok with showing my breasts to my boyfriend...

Thanks all for any feedback...

blueorange, I'm sorry you are having these concerns after your exchange surgery. All this is stressful enough without worrying about results. Do you have a drain? Have you had a follow up appt with your PS? It can take some time for the swelling to go down, so maybe these issues will resolve with time?

I had my exchange surgery on Oct 12. I am glad that I didn't need a drain with this surgery. I had my f/up with PS yesterday, and while she is pleased with the results... I'm not. I don't have the lumps or ripples you describe. It just doesn't look like a breast. It's upsetting because I've put lots of blood, sweat and tears into this breast... I don't mind my husband seeing it but I won't take my top off during intimacy.
