In addition, I wanted to share an article and video series that I participated in with 10 other women with metastatic breast cancer with the women's lifestyle website Refinery 29, This year Refinery 29 decided to focus all of their Breast Cancer Awareness Month content on Metastatic disease. They even covered the march/die in in Washington, D.C. last week.
Each of us that participated in this project shared our own experiences and points of view on living with this disease. They are each amazing women with their own unique voices.

As a quick follow-up to this video, in case anybody was wondering...mission accomplished!! I got my 50th and final state over New Year's eve. I am super proud of meeting my goal despite very difficult circumstances and numerous setbacks! Attached is a link to a story I wrote about the origins of my goal, how I completed it, and what accomplishing it really meant to me.
