tumor seem to harden and solidify while on chemo

Hello all,

Im new to this site but these had been helping me much in my journey. this site had given me much courage and hope!

I am currently having a neo adjuvant treatment (4 AC+ 4 taxotere) this coming Oct 24 will be my last dose of Taxotere. On the first 4 AC I have truly felt that the tumor is shrinking by becoming softer but when I was starting with Taxotere I notice it began to harden and solidify it seem to have a more define edges. Honestly it bothers me. to those who had taken this route is it possible that even though it may have hardened but the cancer is dead. thanks

    I had a hard "lump" towards the end and during Taxotere. It ended up being scar tissue. I had a complete response.

    Very nice to hear that rozem! thank you for answering my question. im going to check with my onc tomorrow.the reason I want to make sure that it was responding to taxotere is we are paying from our own pockets the treatment i dont have any insurance
