How soon did they schedule biopsy after mammogram

    very little waiting in my case between mammograms and then one biopsy and then the next. I recall all of the being completed within the space of two weeks. I thought that was incredibly fast

    Amanda, this thread id from 2012 and she only posted six times, so it is a pretty safe bet her biopsy was benign

    i had the second mammogram a wk after first and ultra scan and core biopsy were done on the same day. Official results 1 wk later. Surgery less than 3 was following this. It is advisable to go in and talk to the specialist and ask as many questions as you need to. That helped me a lot. After the ultra scan I asked to see it and was advised at the time that it was a tumour but that is unusual. I was prepared and at peace by the time I saw the surgeon to discuss outcome. Take a support person with you
