So while they were setting up for the biopsy this morning they said to make an appointment with my doctor for the results in 2 weeks. Afterwards after they looked at their samples under their microscope the doctor said to make an appointment with my doctor for the results in 5 days. That doesn't sound too good but I guess at least I'll know for sure sooner and can get on with it. I'm very drained right this minute.

    Goldie, that just sounds like confusion to me. Five days sounds more "right" than two weeks. The wait isn't usually that long.

    Depends where you are though. In Thunder Bay, Ontario (Canada) two weeks unfortunately would be usual timing! Two weeks is also what they told me when they booked the biopsy. I must say though that they were all super nice today.

    okay so I'm very happy, I still have to wait 3-5 weeks for pathology results but BI-RADS classification is 4a which is only 2-10% likelihood of malignancy. That is great since this morning I was convinced I had bc again! anybody reading this - I hope you have a great weekend. I will be!!
