My report says Invasive Ductal Carinoma with lobular features. So, do I have IDC, or should I be reading up on other forms?

    I'm not a guru. But your case would probably go under mixed Mixed Type breast cancer. But it's pretty quiet there so you are probably better off reading the IDC forums.

    now I'm a bit curious...I was told I had IDC on my pathology report but that it had a lobular growth pattern....is that considered a mixed type? Has anyone else been told this? That is, a lobular growth pattern vs lobular features - I'm wondering if there is a difference....and did I actuallyhave IDC/ILC vs IDC?

    Sounds like you and I are in the same boat Kath...I don't know if I will get a chance to ask questions before or after my surgery on Friday, but I'm going to try...Kind of would like to know exactly what I have at some point.
