Bra stuffing ideas during TE process
I am a planner and I would love to know what options are there for BMX women who have TE in place. I mainly want to know because I will be very self conscious outside of my home especially at work. I do not want to go back to work with a flat chest as the TE process takes place. I will be so self conscious during this time and I want to plan ahead what I will need during this process to stuff my sports bra with. I want to keep private about this and not discuss it with co-workers. It is not a matter of what people will think its a self esteem issue that I know I will probably need to address. So please suggestions. I am going to surgery October 20th, 2016.

I did not get reconstruction but wanted something to boost my confidence on those first trips out in public. As I get more comfortable with my new chest (or lack thereof!), I am increasingly comfortable just wearing a t-shirt under a loose shirt.
The best solution I found - which I ordered even before my surgery - were these inexpensive, lightweight fiberfill breast forms from TLC:
I ordered both 36A and 36B. The 36 A is just enough to slip into my sports bra or a coobie bra and give a slight bit of shape. I haven't worn the 36B yet.
Best of luck with your surgery!

Hi yogadedra. I was worried about balance and appearance during expansion, particularly since I only had a single mastectomy. I went to a specialty boutique that carries products for women with breast cancer. They had a prosthesis that is fillable (or can have stuffing taken out as needed). It was also covered by my insurance which was good because it was pricey. I was too scared to try to make up my own fill. I wanted to be sure it would look natural and not fall out or shift funny. I'm quite pleased with the result, and no one can really tell. The only problem I have is that when I go in for expansion, the top part of my breast expands as well. There's no way I can balance that with my natural side because my bras just don't reach that far up. I just tell myself it's temporary, and since we're coming into fall, I can wear a lot of layers. Good luck with everything!

Thanks ladies for sharing! I ordered my knitted knockers from suggestion from another thread I started... They should arrive within couple weeks! My surgery is the 20th so hope to have them by then!
