My oncologist called insurance company and MRI was approved. I had the MRI Tuesday. I was frightened of the idea and it was much easier than I imagined. I followed the advice given here which helped a lot. A special 'Thank You' to everyone who helped me understand the procedure and keep me calm. I must say it was not something I would want to do many times! Now I have to wait and see what the next step will be.

    I gave thought to an MRI test before the U/S core biopsy but read that most insurances don't cover it unless you have a strong case and/or family history.
