Low platelets four years after cytoxine, taxotere and neulasta

my oncologist just told me I have low platelet count at my four year checkup. Have to be rechecked in two weeks. Am very worried about the possibility of Leukemia or a blood disease and wondered if this happened to anyone else.

    Hope the low platelet count was a temporary situation. Good luck with the upcoming retest!

    a lot of things can cause low counts. Were you very low or just barely under the low end? I know it is stressful but you will know more when your doctor gets another set of labs and can see the trend. Please let us know what happens on your follow up. Good luck
