I want double mastectomy, but the doctor refuses!

Alltux: Your breast tissue is "active". I have had B.C. twice and the first round I wanted them both removed. Now I wish I had. Fortunately, the second one was also caught early. That you had b.c. at 32 is suspicious for some kind of genetic mutation, not necessarily the kind that science can measure just yet. I would personally go for mastectomy and reconstruction, making sure you get the lump nodes checked first. Just my opinion.
