Surgery yesterday

had surgery yesterday to remove the mass attached to nipple n also biopsy of skin. 72 hours for results. Now 48. I didn't think to ask after surgery but wondering if they will call for results or if I have to schedule appt?

Hoping all this is a fluke some hormonal issue. Hugs to all facing the same and are facing it.

    Hi Corinth,

    How one gets the results varies from doctor to doctor. Some will call with results, some prefer to give results only in person, regardless of what those results are. You may want to give them a call and ask what their policy is.

    thank you Marie. I'm trying to be cool with this process and not worry. The hospital called today to check on me, I asked about my results and was told to call surgeon tomorrow afternoon if I haven't heard anything by then. I never heard of ibc until recently. Come to find out that's what my aunt has. This is unreal.
