Sternum/rib pain and mets?

Hi all--Does anyone know if a sensation of pinching/pain in the sternum might signal a concern worth checking? I have some discomfort there and where 2 or 3 of the left-side ribs meet the sternum; sometimes I feel something at the same level in my mid-back. The breast cancers were on the right side, but I have felt intermittent oddity in my left shoulder, shoulder blade, and armpit. Thanks for any advice or info.

    PS If it's useful to know: I had a lumpectomy + rads for the 2013 dx, and I had a BMX without recon for the 2014 dx.

    If the pain has lasted for more than 2 weeks, it is worth getting checked out. Keep us posted.

    I had the same pain, (actually is the cartilage arrond sternum, )for 1 month,and I was verry scared , but it passed with Arnica gel after using 2 days . is the best product .try it.

    I had similar pain but it was never bad enough for me to request a scan. I still worried though! 18 months later, brain mets won me some full body scans, which revealed nothing. Best I can figure is it was some result of surgery and rads. Get it checked out if you're worried, but there's a good chance it's nothing
