    lol!

I'm going to invent a t.v. remote with a finger-print sensor/reader built in so it only works when I'm holding it!
    (It's a guy thing!!!)

Will probably sell a million of 'em.

Laffin!!! The other day I overheard DH on phone with out-of-town friend say, "junie got a new roof on the house, and a new deck with a covered roof and ceiling fan, and a new shower...I can't wait to see what she gets ME!" I swear, if I can find a lump of coal anywhere, THAT is what he will unwrap!!!!

Men, DH or S/Os are so hard to buy for...

I try to find one really nice gift and come up with one really goofy gift that no one else understands, but is a funny memory of something we've recently shared. For his last birthday, I had my out-of-town daughter make up a special tee-shirt--when he opened it, he was speechless--then laughed so hard. There are only 4 people in this world who can hear the words--"1010 Center Street" and laugh 'til they cry. He wore that tee-shirt on a recent trip to visit the other 2 people in this world and we were all hooting in a busy airport--thought someone might call security because we were all laughing so hard!

Hi ladies, I ordered my os dvds. I know that sounds a bit lame but we live in Greece and don't get to the shopping mall very often so it's a big treat lol. Also a strategy book for an online game he's playing. I agree that it's hard finding gifts for men.

The best gift I ever gave DH (his words) was last year - got him TiVo. Only bought for a year so this one I will renew it and get the box with 80 hours that can record two shows at once.

He wants an XBox 360 but I refuse to get him that.

I also ordered a shed for the yard that we need, not sure it's Christmas present material, but I'm counting it!!!

This was a few years ago when I was dating someone for over a year, my friend and I got some of our cute lingerie outfits together and went to Galmour Shots for photos. It was a very fun day, we went to lunch had a couple drinks then went to Glamour shots. They pamper you to no end and our photograper was wonderful. She was totally into what we were doing and I had a great photo done. I was wearing a little red baby doll outfit, had a santa hat and wore long red gloves. She even found the perfect size little teddy bear to help fill out my top. The pictures were awesome. Got a frame that said bad girl with a picture that was seductive. Didn't expose hardly any skin in the photo but it turned out awesome! Never knew I could look so good!

P.S. Needless to say he LOVED that gift!

My DH is very hard to buy for and unless he tells me what he wants he just gets clothes.
Okay so this year he said he'd like a micro hi-fi system that has a USB port so he's able to plug his portable hard drive into it because that's where all his music is stored...my reaction was HUH !!! I'm sorry I asked, buying him clothes would have been much easier

In the past, I've bought my husband tickets to sporting events and plane tickets to visit his best friend in Memphis.

    Kari,
Thanks for the info. I saw that the Micro Hi-Fi was a Phillips so I went to the Phillips Electronics website and looked to see if they had any other smaller Micro Hi-Fi systems (DH wanted one for use on our deck), I found a smaller one and did a search for a retailer and saw Sam's Club sells it. I went to Sam's & bought it, I'm just about to wrap it up.
    Here's what I got
    http://www.consumer.philips.com/consumer..._37_US_CONSUMER

    Thanks again Kari.

My husband grew up in Ohio and he misses their Verner's gingler ale so I ordered him a case of it online--that was a big hit with him!

He also has a list of albums(yes, vinyl)he wants to find-- mostly rare jazz albums-- so, last year, I spent weeks looking on ebay and visiting old record shops. He likes to convert them to CD since they aren't available.

I am not a big meat eater and rarely buy/cook steaks so one year, I bought him one of those huge filet mignon tenderloins, wrapped it and kept it in the fridge---he was so happy to get it--he pulled the grill out of the shed and was grilling with the snow falling down around him on Christmas.

I just try to figure out unexpected fun things that he wouldn't think to buy for himself.

I was freaking out over what to get the guy who has everything and wants nothing for x-mas. He has everything he wants, and the only electronic stuff he needs is WAYYYYY out of my price range.
He's a romantic at heart, and this year I think I hit the nail on the head.
I got something we can both enjoy- a helicopter ride around manhattan followed by a 3 hour dinner cruise.
Inventive? well, I knew I wanted to get him something out of the ordinary, and I found two great websites.
one is www.gift.com, and you put in the persons gender, age, occasion, and what you want to spend and it gives you a million options. It took me to a site called experiencedays.com, and you put in your state, and price range, and it gives you all kinds of incredible things like hot air balloon rides, race car school, spa days, fishing trips, you can even fly to niagra falls for the day for $330 a person...
if you're looking to spend between $1-500, there are amazing gifts. They even go into extravagent things for $750-2000.
I really think he's going to love it.
