Just Started Hormonal Therapy

I just started on Zoladex & Femara two weeks ago. I was having periods before being put on these meds. They, however, over the last few years have become lighter and less days (4 days average). HOWEVER, I started my period three days after starting the meds and the flow has been somewhat heavy and I'm on day 9! Is this normal? At what point should I stop having my period? Help! I hate all this bleeding!!!

    I think I'd call the doc and ask. I know Zolodex is supposed to stop them, but I am not sure if it takes a cycle to take effect.

    I actually did call several hours ago. The nurse just called and said it's normal for first period to be longer. Said if I haven't stopped in another 5 days or if I begin to feel weak, to call them and they would have me come into the office.
