Comfortable Implants for Thin Small-Breasted Women

I'm a very thin and small-breasted 49-year old. I'm considering a PBMX. I read on this board that going flat usually results in ribs showing under the skin if the person doesn't have any chest fat. I don't want to increase my breasts size, which is a tad smaller than A cup. I'm wondering if implants come in those tiny sizes and if so, would it be possible to have them done without expanders?

Also, is there a chance that very small implants (either saline or silicon) could feel completely comfortable?

    Hi Lisa, I think you should start from finding an experienced plastic surgeon. Plastic surgeon will give you the best advice considering your anatomy and preferences. Only plastic surgeon can tell you whether a direct to implant procedure can be done in your case.

    As for how the implants feel I can assure you that if all goes well you should feel completely comfortable after you heal and get used to them. If you are doing any sports please discuss with the PS too - some women who exercise seriously might have issues depending on what sports they do.

    When I was still in 'planning stage' for my BMX, and wasn't yet sure if I wanted to go flat or get implants, my PS sat me in a room that was just a huge table filled with every kind of implant imaginable of every size imaginable.

    There was one set that fit in the palm of my hand and could be easily covered by my hand; she said, "That's the smallest one they make, I don't think I've ever used one, but they make them." I only remember it because I didn't think they made implants in anything smaller than a "large B" type size somehow, but these were very, very small and there were others in a similar range.

    Your PS might not have that 'demo' size available to look at, but they do make small, AA/A type sized implants. I've seen them and held them in my hands. :)
    You may also be limited to the type/shape/brand as it's possible not all manufacturers make them in those sizes; I believe small ones I saw were round silicone.

    You may have to ask about it though, and I don't remember what the CCs were on them she just told me they were AA/A size depending on the person they went into.


    I can't speak to the feel, as I decided to go flat in the end.
