smarty: well said! It hurts just to looks at that piercing.
Looking for an antidote, I came across a B&B called Inn at Restful Paws in MA. Now that is a place that says pets welcome in no uncertain terms. Aahhh relief!

I think it's time for me to go organize a few things in my house now.
Magiclight, we ought to have more inns/hotels that welcome pets.
-
We stayed at a hotel on the beach in Cannon Beach, OR and I think we were the only people without a dog. We decided we would borrow a dog if we stayed there again.
-
Loverly - That is so cruel! Makes me want to reach into those pics and fix them.
Wren - Did you enjoy your stay at Cannon Beach?
-
ROTHFLOL OCD is so on the mark

Junie, We love Cannon Beach. We used to rent a big house and go with grandkids and sometimes SIL's mother visiting from Burma. We could walk to the rock or to town from the house. DD is a biologist and we would let the kids collect things in a pail of water, then put them back when we left. It's certainly not a warm beach. I've worn winter coats there in the summer. We were spoiled when we lived in Texas an hour from the beach and the water was warm. I think you have to be born on the left coast to think cold water is ok to swim in.

Wren: As soon as my puppy is fully potty trained maybe I should rent him out for Oregon trips or only charge 1/2 price prior to potty training. Did I mention he is a pampered pet?
-
He's way too adorable to let out of your sight.

Referring to my earlier warm and fuzzy puppy video post, The Present, on September 4.
And the missing leg isn't that different than our missing breasts or innocence of life before breast cancer.

Here's an interesting new study:
Who Is Attracted to Inspiring Media?
By Sophie H. Janicke | September 13, 2016 | 2 Comments
New research reveals how our media choices reflect and shape our mood and behavior.
excerpt from article:
It's worth asking: What do you share on your social media? Will it demoralize your friends or lift them up? Is it cute or is it meaningful? Personally, I tend to share news I find inspiring; things that give me a feeling of "wow," "whaaat?," "awwwww," and "no way!" Doing so gives me a double boost of inspiration: one lift from reading or watching the uplifting and meaningful content—and one from sharing it with others.
warmest healing wishes all, Stephanie
