Bras! What have you been wearing?
Before breast cancer I was never very interested in bras. I would have a few basic comfortable bras, and when they wore out they would be replaced with the same.
Now of course things have changed. After my tissue expanders were placed I had to go without anything for about a month. Because my stitches were, and are under my breast, and my skin was so painful to the touch. After a month I went with the lounge bralettes from Victoria Secret. They have a barely there feeling and at the time that was all I could tolerate. Finally I switched to coobie bras, which I have been wearing ever since. They give some support and the padding adds some shape. I love them but I'm looking around for other options too.
What are you wearing?

I was wearing cheapo Fruit of the Loom front opening bras and Coobie bras for a long while after exchange. I then started wearing Bali style 3036 as it has supportive sides and no underwire. A couple of weeks ago I switched to Bali 3439/8806. It is an underwire model and is quite pretty, IMO. I only wear the underwires when I am going out. I find I fit into regular bras with no problem.
Happy shopping!

I will check those out online tonight. Thanks!
Today I tried an Ahh bra. It was okay. But by the end of the day it was bugging me a little.

I like the Genie bra.

I bought a package of Genie bras after TEs . I find them very comfy. I also wear sports bras. I had exchange July 22 and plan to buy some pretty bras soon . I was kinda waiting for them to settle and to be sure swelling is gone. I'll check out that Bali bra! My NP told me no underwire bras , I'm not sure if they mean forever ?????? I'll ask next visit as that was the only kind I wore before. I feel odd without wires and hoisting my huge boobs up with wide straps and 4-6 hooks in back as I had done my whole adult life.

try the Bali comfort revolution bra. You can get it either with foam cups or without. It has no underwire but it supports very well, I think because of the way it is generously cut at the sides of breast. It's the one bra that didn't irritate my SNB site. After 3.5 years I'm still wearing it!

I was told no underwires too. But in my case I think it's because my incisions were under my breast. Not really sure though.
Yes. it is weird sometimes not having the chest you were used to your whole life!
I have heard of the Genie but not tried it yet.

Another vote for the Bali Comfort Revolution line. I own them in almost every color. My implants are very perky, so underwires seem unecessary. Alloderm is all the lift I need 😊

I tried the Genie bras but they sit so high on me I felt like I had foobs under my chin. The Coobie 9060 fits me really well but the "full size" and "one size" didn't. The elastic band on the 9060 is low enough that it doesn't rub on my incisions. I've got a Danskin front zip up that I like really well too.

I have been looking around Amazon and Macys.com and reading reviews. It seems some of the best ones don't come in a 32 band. Very annoying.

sanfrankitty,
Check out the Smart Size styles in the Bali Comfort Revolution line. Their XS fits a 32

and the good thing about the Bali bras is that they do up in the back and you don't have to pull it over your head!
