DALAUDIN AND ANESTHESIA HAVE ME DROWSY...JUST TOOK A 800 MILI MOTRIN... MY CARETAKER WANT ME TO WAIT FULL 48 HOURS BEFORE I LOOK...
WHEN DID YOU LOOK...I'M DIZZY... FUZZY GOOD NIGHT... -
I wasn't allowed to remove the binding, surgical bra, or bandages for 48 hrs, so I just left everything alone for two days. Obviously, no shower for 48 hrs as well. I removed the bandages right before taking a shower. One bandage had some dried blood on it and it was sort of stuck to the incision. I just ran warm water over it (gently) to help remove it. The first view was a little gruesome, but once the dried blood was washed away it looked okay.
I healed quickly and did not have any issues with the incision sites. Even the radiated skin healed with no trouble. I currently have two spots that look like stitches are pushing through, one near each nipple. This happened with the incision sites after the DIEP so I'm not worried.
Sleeping was tough for the first few days, so I went back to the recliner to sleep. Once the black and blue areas subsided I was back in bed.
Hopefully, you will have a restful weekend and be ready to get back to normal by Monday!

Hi... Hope you enjoyed your weekend Jane...
I think I will be up and walking 3 miles Wednesday...
I am home in Queen size bed...Came home late Saturday night...I keep laying on side...She extended incision... I am rubbing it a tad... I just realized it and repositioned to my back...
My immediate reconstructed breast had a lift and reduction the nipple on it is larger... And higher... I am thinking once the swelling is down it will match other side... She only put nipple on delayed radiated breast...
I know... Patience lol... Points are off dog ear... How would I know if there were LIPO... -
Good morning! Sounds like you are recovering well! It took me a week or so to feel comfortable enough to sleep in my bed. My sides were sore for a while. How does everything look? I was told that the nipples wil shrink a bit and they have. I would be happy if they stay as they are right now. I have enough projection without highbeams.
The lipoed area was obvious to me. The area was very bruised, all around the dog ear site and towards my back. I also had to wear a compression binder for at least two weeks (ended up closer to 3). Also, Dr Kovach showed me where he was going to lipo right before the procedure. He confirmed what we had talked about previously and he used a sterile pen to draw over the areas he was going to work on.
Are you going to do the tattoos? There is a micropigmentation specialist associated with the PS department at Perelman.
