My mom took hrt for 12 years. I have always believed it lead to her bc and eventually her death. I am so very bitter about it. Thank you for posting.

Some studies have indicated there is a difference in the effects of synthetic and natural progesterone, with the former causing the negative health effects and the latter being more benign. I wonder if there has been any shift away from synthetic in women who do take HRT?

I took 10 years of HRT because menopause happened at 41. And here I am. ILC.
