True story, I was at a church today where Mother Teresa (now St Teresa) once visited. There is a plaque where she sat. They were looking for something to wipe it clean with and I said, take my sleeve.

Afterward they said officially that seat is a relic. So my sleeve has some holy mojo.

Did I mention I am jewish? ;)

Hey it can't hurt!

LOL! When I flew for Pan Am. Mother Teresa (St. Teresa of Calcutta), was my passenger from NY to Caracas. She was the only passenger on the upper deck of a 747. She seemed unimaginably frail as she climbed the spriral staircase from the lower deck, and only wanted to rest as she had just gotten off the very long flight from India. She barely touched her lunch, but did ask for a second serving of dessert. My main job became trying to keep other passengers from coming up the stairs to seek her blessing (word had spread that she was on board). A good job for another Jewish girl 😊.

LOL...great story. I'm a Christ follower but not Roman Catholic--I wonder if everything she touched is now considered to be a relic? Exbrngrl, you maybe should have saved the dessert dishes.

She was a mighty force for good in the world.

WOW, ladies - great stories! Love the Pan Am story, exbmxgrl!!!! I'm glad to know as frail as she was, she still liked desserts!

As a practicing Roman Catholic who has Lymphedema, I'm thinking I should ask for St. Teresa to intercede for me!

    Thanks for posting these stories!
