Hello my biopsy was Aug 10th but it was a horrible experience - not enough lidocaine , they literally didn't have any more in the room, the vacuum to pull the core sample failed then the gum placing the marker failed . Anyway here we are 3 weeks later and the site is painful during bad weather .... Anyone else experience this? We haven't started treatment yet because we are still getting appointments

I had no pain in my breast until I had my core needle biopsy. Everything went very smoothly during my procedure so the challenges you had may not be a factor when it comes to subsequent discomfort. In fact, the nurse kept saying, "You can squeeze my hand if the pain is bad," but my Synvisc knee injections were far more uncomfortable. I didn't notice a connection with my discomfort and bad weather, but everyone is different. I'm sorry you had a bad experience and hope your pain eases with time.

My biopsy was uncomfortable during the procedure but nothing compared with the healing and bruising. It's been 2 weeks and it still feels heavy. I keep thinking it's the tumor I am feeling which freaks me out. I feel for all of you literally!
