Bone scan and scared

Hello, I'm a 15 year survivor , Staget 3B Breast Cancer . I've had a few scares but this one is by far the scariest. Went to a chiropractor last week who did some pushing on my back, when she got to my upper back and pushed I felt horrible pain and it took my breath away. A few days had gone by and I went to the Doctors and they did x-rays. Said it looked like a broken rib but wanted a better look. Did a catscan and found a few broken ribs and a lesion . Told me to contact my onco and he ordered a bone scan .The bone scan was today and I defiantly saw the bright white hot spots ! I am scared to death and have to wait until Weds. for results. I am sick to my stomach. How do you even cope waiting ? I'm a mess😶

    Hello, I don't have any insight to share but wanted to stop by and give support. Waiting on results is difficult. Hoping for the best for you. I know others who have been through similar situations will be by soon to give input and advice. Good luck and keep us posted.

    I have always called my oncologist for results prior to my appt. He is always good about giving me info as early as possible so I don't go to a terribly dark place. I would call today and see if a nurse can get your results and release them to you if they can. Waiting is awful....no doubt about it. Hoping the hot spots are just the broken ribs......funny how we would be happy to have that.
