Hi everyone
Im trying to read all your updates its been a while. Im just greatful for this group and all the great ladies here.
Hi djabi i understand your anxiety, im due now in sept too. Im waiting for my appt date. Not sure what im having done. Probably mammogram or ultrasound. I really dont like having all this because somehow i feel if there nothing there, then all these imaging test may cause bc. But i know its for the better and if any bc is found it will be caught early. Still a very nerve shaking expierience. Good luck to you on your upcoming appt.

Hi Tinkerbell49 - Nice to hear from you. My next appointment is my first 3D mammogram. I've convinced myself that my diagnostic mammograms have missed cancer and the 3D will find it! Let us know when you get your appt date. I sometimes wonder if there is a danger in all the mammograms too - but for right now, I'm more afraid not to have them! Peace out!

I don't know why, but I have put off calling my PCP every day for two weeks to schedule my first post radiation mammogram for December. November makes six months, but for some reason the surgeon wants me to wait until December. I'm going to make myself do it tomorrow. Anybody else have to resist feeling up your breasts on a nightly basis?
-
I hear you loving.
You all are a great group of brave women.
Happy to know you and wish us all a speedy end to our breast cancer horrors.
I'm already feeling daunted and pissed about Pinktober.
My next Mammorgram isin early November. friend coming with me and I'm going to London the week before partially to get my mind off of this. Believe me international travel is no day at the beach either with type 1 diabetes and 6 injections daily. I'll be dead fast with any kind of breast cancer.
I know that we are all doing our very best.
I have no support other than you all so ...
Many thanks ! And good wishes

Hi everybody - I have my third 6 month follow up (18 month out of 24 months required) bilateral 3 D diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound on Monday. I am so dreading the next 72 hours of waiting. I am asking for your prayers for a good outcome. Many thanks - grateful to all of you for sharing your hearts and your experiences.

my appt is coming up in 11 days. Not that I'm counting lol. Keep feeling around and wondering about the lumps I have one spot has a hard spot. I should be ok since taking tamoxifen. -
it's times like these when I wish I had the double done.

Thanks dear friends - I'm about to take some Xanax to try to calm my nerves and get some sleep before my appt. tomorrow. Xanax helped a great deal last time.

Asking for prayers and positive thoughts. Go for my annual tomorrow and hopefully will get my 6 month checks back on again. Also have to get my left breast checked out.
-
so many prayers and good vibes going your way. Boy do I know this anxiety, I get through it with Xanax too. So sucks to have to go though this every six months
-
Hi dear friends and thank you for all the prayers, good wishes and positive vibes. I made out just fine. My radiologist said that I'm still good right now - everything is pretty much the same. He explained that I have a lot of calcifications in both breasts and that is why they are watching so closely. All the calcs look the same. They have biopsied a few in the right breast and that biopsy was benign with no atypical cells. They are also watching a cyst. I have another 6 month follow up - bilateral diagnostic and ultrasound and if I make it through that follow up, I can go back to annual screening. They did not do 3 d - my density is ok. I took Xanax last night and this morning. I don't think I could get myself there without it. And when I take a little Xanax I bounce out of the anxiety state right away. Without Xanax I collapse for about 36 hours. Thank you all again for thinking of me.

Great news Frankie!!! I'm so happy for you

Yay!!!!!!!! So glad it come out good!!!

Hi ladies
Im glad everything came out good Frankie, that's great news.
My appt is Sept 23 getting an ultrasound this time around. This makes 1 year of my diagnosis. To make my anxiety worse my insurance company cancelled my policy they said for non payment. I had to send my bank statement for proof of payment someone on there end did not post the payment. To make a long story short I have been back and fourth with them for a month and 1 hour hold times. Finally a supervisor called me Friday and said he was going to handle everything and call the breast ctr to let them know that my ins. is being reinstated and i am covered. The good thing out of all this is that I really did not have time to think about my actual appointment because of trying to fix this mess. Finally Saturday it hit me and now my anxiety has begun.
Praying for good results, I too will take a xanax that morning.

I'm clear!! Had US that showed my lump was fatty glandular tissue. So relieved. Wishing everyone a nice weekend.

Hello ladies,
Its been a few years sense I was here. Back in 2013 started my 6 month watch routine for micro calcifications in the right breast. went for 2 years and the Dr. called it all good and I went back to once a year. This year they found a VERY small ( 1/2 cm ) lump in left breast. After magnified views, 3-D Mammo and ultrasound, we are back to the 6 month watch routine.
Any other group I might say "It's nice to be back" but honestly..... who wants to be here?
Hope you have all been doing well and your breast issues are all B9.
-
Hi friends
My results were good. I have scattered cysts but nothing to worry about. Thanks for your prayers I guess i made it through 6 more months. I hope i can clear my ins problems. They are crazy if they think im not going to have ins.
Good luck ddw79 and everyone else with up coming tests. I feel blessed to have this club it sure helped with my worries.
Thank you frankie...
Lots of love and hugs for all
-
So very happy for you Tinkerbell! One 6 months at a time for all of us. Good luck with your insurance issues.

My appt is tomorrow ( mammo / mri) but holy cow are my boobs pmsy painful. Im pretty sure I might tell them not a chance on the mammo. My boobs were NEVER this sore til the lx's. I blame the scar tissue because even the incision scar is tender at this point in the month. before you ask why i scheduled the mammo during my period... I am totally irregular so I have no way of knowing when its going to happen. pretty sure the u/s is going to hurt too. I have a pretty high pain tolerance.. yet..the idea of being flattened right now makes me a tad woozy. too bad advil cant take away all the pain
-
well mammo was all clear.. didnt get the u/s , and doc said " lumpy and bumpy as always" mri in dec... lather rinse repeat
