Breathing problems after Chemo?

Hi To All!  Finished chemo (4 rounds of taxotere with cytoxan) in Dec.  I've been having shortness of breath and also discomfort in my throat and upper chest for about 5 weeks. Went to pulm. doctor in Feb, and he put me on an inhaler.  Still having issues.  Going back on Tuesday. Just wondering if it's a late side effect from the poision I had.

Hi Sharalou   I just finished chemo also 4 rounds of taxotere and cytoxan, just last week. I have been having shortness of breath and increased pusle rate. My oc sent me for a echo and xray of lungs and they came back hypoinflated. He said I need to increase my deep breathing and cough to increase lung volume. Then recondition my body as I improve. He was not concerned. I think it is from the taxotere also. they reduced the last infusion. Hope it goes away soon!

i had this too. I went to my hot yoga classes and just did corpse pose, childs pose and down dogs. They made me focus on deep focused beathing. My last treatment was mid january and while it took until may to feel i could breathe normally all the time, there has been no lasting damage.

I have the same thing. I've had the whole range of tests, but nothing came up positive. At least there's that. I'm glad to know from clairy that it's possible to move past this through yoga.
