    Interesting article! There was another thread here some months ago about cupping that I didn't read now I'm going to try to find it.

    The writer must either be very brave or very desperate to try something that could, in my opinion, possibly cause further damage. Just shows how little I know about this condition. I hope there is follow up on how cupping works with extended use.

    I had posted a couple of months ago that I was going to go to a therapist to have the cupping done and I did.  The therapist did the cupping very gently and my skin did not change color.  I did notice a slight improvement the next day.  The cost was $80 which I consider too costly to do on a regular basis.  However, she did say that if I purchased the cups she would show me how to apply them.  I believe this is a good alternative treatment to the treatment of lymphedema.

    Great, thanks JoAnn. Yes, the idea of skin changing color as she described sounds scary. Interesting that you tried it, and thought it was beneficial.
