Hi. I just turned 37 with 2 kids and was recently diagnosed last month. I had felt a lump and dismissed it for a couple weeks thinking it was part of my breast implant. And my mother just passed away in February due to breast cancer so I thought NO WAY can this be cancer. I was referred to have a mamo and ultrasound & radiologist assured me it was nothing just scar tissue but he saw my worried face and said he would refer me to have a biopsy. I went in for a biopsy early June and that dr even said its nothing & I had a fine needle aspiration. Next day I got the call that changed my life. Dr said it looks malignant. I was referred to the general surgeon in my med group he had me do mri & that showed many spots on my right breast. I then got referred to a breast surgeon & she had me do a core biopsy since fna doesn't give a lot of info. On 7/8/16 core biopsy confirmed 2spots on my R breast. 1 dcis 2nd idc but less than 1mm so my dr said still stage0. I had a masectomy on R breast with out nipple sparing on 8/8. I will get. Pathology results at my appt. just scared it will be more than the stage0 dr had originally said. Brca - negative. Thanks new to this forum

You are way too young to have BC but it's apparent the beast isn't selective about age.

Your Path report will tell you a lot. I hope it is still Stage 0.

You will get through this just like we have.

Keep us posted and keep the faith.

Hello Hopfull2, sorry you have to be here but so glad you found us. I was also 37 with 3 young children when I was diagnosed. It's very scary and overwhelming. Saying lots of prayers that you're still stage 0. The fear is what gets the best of all of us in the beginning. As soon as you have your path report and have a plan in place, you'll start to feel a little more in control. Take care and keep us posted.
