Side effects after TCH

I am 4 weeks post chemo and have significant pain especially in my lower back, pelvis and front of thighs that started about a week ago. I also have general soreness and inflexibility through out the rest of my body. I received 3 rounds every three weeks of TCHP (Taxotere), then went to 8 rounds of weekly TCH (taxol). I had bad reactions to the chemo and got just about every side effect in the book. As soon as I completed chemo I felt great, but now I have these aches and pains. Could this be a result of the chemo? Has anyone else experienced post chemo side effects?

Yes. I;m still having herceptin every three weeks.

Herceptin could cause your issues, I think. How much longer do you have of them?

About 6 more months of Herceptin.

Some suggest to extend the Herceptin to 60 or even 90 minutes to help with SE. I ran mine over an hour every time and didn't have any issues. I may have been lucky or it was from requesting it to run slower. Worth a try to see if the pains ease up

Definitely have them run the herceptin for 90 minutes. This can make a huge difference even though 60 minutes did.

Just a suggestion, but I drank 2 liters of water a day for the entire year I was going thru treatment.
