prayers, hugs, and love for her. Hope and I were diagnosed at about the same time. She was definitely much more of a trooper than me emotionally. She used to tell me as long as I have hope that I couldn't give up and when I didn't have hope I could use her and replacement. Got me through many many nights. Sorry to hear this for her and especially her family as I know she has some adult children and even still one young one at home. I remember back at her wedding pictures or her renewal of her vows I should stay she looks so beautiful and her love story was truly inspirational. Will forever hold a place in my heart. As in many others here obvious by the number of posts dedicated to her. Thanks will be keeping us informed woody thank you back about pictures of Hope also remember the concert she took her son to all that she was very tired the pictures of both of them extremely happy and I can still remember it to this day. That's the way I want to be remembered as well smiling and happy much love hugs
-
I too remember the beautiful photos she posted of her and her hubby's renewal vows..a beautiful couple. Her wonderful kids, dogs and family life she loved it all so passionately. Thank you Woody for keeping us updated. Send in my love to join the circle of love here. Prayers and lovingindness to you both. I will remember Hope's love for family and kindness and trust hospice will be supportive and pain free.
-
Patty and Rosevalley and all of you ladies, thank you for your loving wishes and prayers for Hope and me. I am conveying oall your loving messages to her. She is always happy of the love you surround her with and sends her love and support to all of you.
Hope also helped me when i became stage IV and she was always very supportive and even now she is still supportive. A wonderful mother , a great wife and a wonderful human being.
She did not answer my messages since yesterday but she read them. Her last message was that she is trying to control the pain and discomfort and probably more symptoms. She hoped today would be better. My heart is breaking and going out for her and i pray she does not suffer more and i hope she keeps beating the odds. I will check with her again if i do not recieve any reply again I will call her.
Thank you all , Patty i hope you are well and Rosevalley also .
Loving kindness to you all.
-
Again, thank you Woody. I continue to pray that Hope is comfortable and surrounded with love. She's simply beautiful, inside out.
-
Thanks, Woody. I think about and pray for Hope every day.
-
Many thanks, woody. May they find relief for her pain
-
Just checking on Hope, I hope she is pain free, and able to enjoy time with her family. xx

Hi ladies ,
For four days now Hope is not replying or showing on messenger, she usually and always answers even with one word. Four days ago she told me she was not well, she had already problem reading and seeing the screen, she told me she was very tired and trying to hang on. I believe she may have slipped into a coma or just slipped away. I am extremely sad because i know for the past two weeks she was putting up her last fight.
Her husband is supposed to post if anything happened but till now he did not. I will be calling her mobile today because of the time difference i have to wait. There is a 10 hours gap between us. If i find out anything i will inform you.
I am at loss of words and overwhelmed with sadness .
Loving kindness to you all.
-
Woody, big warm hug for you. I am wrapping you in a rainbow shawl of loving, healing light.
This loving and losing friends is one of the hardest parts of living with cancer as a life companion.
Continued prayers to heaven for Hope. She's a remarkable human being and an important part of our community.
heartfelt loving kindness for all, Stephanie
-
Woody, I can just imagine how hard this is for you. Sending you strength and hugs.
-
Oh Woody - this makes me very sad too. Thank you for being such a good friend to Hope and for keeping us informed, I know it must be very difficult. Please know that you and Hope are both loved beyond measure.
-
I am so sorry to read this. I have no words other than both of you remain in my thoughts. I hope you both find comfort in the sheer volume of people, in both the real world and our virtual message board world, who care(d) about Hope and appreciate all you have done to keep us updated.
-
(((Hope)))
-
Woody, thank you so much for keeping us informed. This is very sad. You are a good friend to Hope and I know this is very difficult. We have all been dreading hearing that Hope is declining. You and Hope are in my thoughts.
-
Woody, so sad for you and all of us. Even though we know our days are numbered, it sure doesn't make it any easier. Thoughts and prayers to all.
-
Woody, Thank you for the update. I know this is hard for you. I am saddened to hear that Hope is not doing well, but we all know she has lived her life to the fullest, and she didit her way. You are both in my thoughts.
Hugs from, Lynne

Woody - this is such sad news for Team Hope - so many of us touched by her kind words. And you too.:) Sending light thoughts with peace. Please post when you reach her husband. (())
-
Woody,
Thank-you for communicating with all of us.
I felt a connection with Hope, as I'm sure she was able to do that with all. Great sense of humor & adventure.
Sweet dreams Hope.
-
I thank all of you who are so caring about Hope. I called her mobile, her messenger, her husband's and son i got no reply from any of them. So i have no comfirmation from any of them. But i feel somthing wrong has happened .her brain tumors very very symptomatic , they may have slipped her into a coma . I am at loss but i will keep trying to contact any of them so each and every one of us gets a closure. But i am beside myself Hope and I conversed for long this past year about everything and i am going to miss her. Though i would not want her to suffer more.
She had prepared for her cremation but have always accepted my prayers with grace in her honor and in her struggle i send this poem
May your days and nights be filled with peace,
And may those you love be near.
May the solace of that closeness
Banish any hint of fear.
May the joy you've brought to others
Fill your soul now with that light,
And the memories of happy times
Fill your dreams through darkest night.
For you've lent your strength to many.
You've upheld us in our strife.
Now let those of us who love you
Let you know just how your life
Has been the brightest beacon
For you've shown us how to bear
With great dignity and courage
Both the bad times and the fair.
As a mentor and a leader
You have always been our guide.
As a friend there's been none better.
May you know all this with pride.
All our prayers and thoughts are with you.
May you feel their soothing grace.
May our care and loving hold you
Here within that sacred space.
And may God then grant you courage
When the time to fight is o'er
And be waiting for you smiling,
When you reach his lofty door.
For you'll be borne by angels
That our Lord has sent for you
And in wholeness be rewarded
All your pain will then be through.Ladies i just spoke to her husband Hope lost the use of her hand and langs, she cannot talk much , but she understands , the hopice people are coming three times a week and i believe she is getting ready for her last trip. It is with weeping heart that i tell you this . I am losing my friend for this ugly and stupid disease. God be with her and with us all.
I will inform you of course when it is official.
Love to you all

(((Woody))) I'm heartbroken to read this news, as we all are. No words right now, just love and peace for Hope
-
I am so sorry Woody. A very sad day for all of us whom Hope has touched. Sending you hugs and heartfelt thanks for keeping us informed. I think we all need a huge shot of good news soon....
-
This is heartbreaking. She was the first person who I followed on these boards. She tried so hard to get well, and I know she really wanted to be there for her son. I am sorry her journey has been so painful. Soon she will suffer no more, but I'm sure she didn't want to leave this place so soon. None of us do. I pray for her and I pray for all of us. I'm pretty sad right now.
Stefanie
-
Woody, you are a truly brave and loving friend to Hope and all of us.
Thank you for bringing this hard news and for keeping everyone connected.
A big sighing out breath for Hope. May her passing from this form be peaceful.
with tenderness for all, Stephanie
-

-
Thank you Woody. I do know how hard this is for you. I pray that Hope is pain free and is surrounded with love from near and far.
-
I have to add my prayers to all of those here for both Hope and for you Woody in your coming loss. Like a lot of us here, Hope started the first thread I read so I also feel a special connection. I'm also so sorry you are losing such a special friend. I think I can understand your pain as I have a very dear friend who is also losing her battle with cancer and it is so sad. Sometimes there just are no words.
Faith (in the future
