bruising

Options

I have a series of bruises on my back, almost where my bra would  be, if i was wearing one. I have shown them to my surgeon, and o.t. and they did not seem to be concerned. I had told my chemo rn, and she said my #s were good, platelets and everything, but waited and took a picture during my herceptin infusion. I had my last chemo infusion dec 27. still have 2 more herceptin to go. These bruises were there before I started arimidex on 2/7/2013. they were fading, but now they are darker than ever. has anyone else experienced anything like this?

The bruises are still there, and no one (doctors), seems concerned. They are ugly, and I am at the beach, where I wear a t-shirt because they are ugly.

    Hi Tomboy

If I bruise - the bruise is usually big and eventually fades but leaves behind a sort of stain. My legs are covered with them and yes - they are ugly. No one knows why - one doctor mentioned something about the hemoglobin not breaking down - but he didn't suggest a way to make them go away.

Maybe see a dermatologist (though that didn't do me much good but at least I knew it wasn't something serious).
