Good breast plastic surgeons in Houston, Texas
I am wondering if anyone might want to share with me their experiences with their PS in Houston, Texas?
my BS in on Medicare, but, sadly, the gentleman who he often prefers to work with is not. My secondary is a retirement insurance policy.....actually I "wish" this was my primary now...great policy!
I have had my BS follow me for the last 7 years, after he removed a 9cm Phyllodes tumor from my right breast ( he went around the nipple, and you can no longer see the scar, he is known for his artistic skills, I believe)
I am in the middle of a rather nasty MRI report and awaiting a biopsy next week....even if there is "nothing" ( odds might just be against me this time around....I posted a thread about the MRI report in the "Waiting for results" section of the forum, titled Bi-Rads 4) and I have other health issues to content with if a malignancy is found, so I am practicing good ole "due diligence" and getting my proverbial "ducks in order" here😅
Many, many thanks ahead of time😎

hey Ladies,
Just. Hearing. Crickets here😕
No one had any reconstruction in the Houston area? Wow! With it being the third largest city in the US( or so they tell me....) I am soo surprised!
Nobody wants to share resources???
Are my clothes weird? Do I have bad breath? ( just joking!

can you travel to San Antonio ? I travel from Va to SA
Dr Arishita at PRMA are very well respected and gave excellent after care.
Recommend winter months in texas due to heat. Must wear compression garmets

thank you for the suggestion....I have heard that the center is really good! They are primarily known for reconstruction with your own tissue, I believe. This is most likely not an option for me, since I am a genetic clotter...Factor V Leiden.
I am so happy that your surgery turned out well..so good to hear!
I hear you about the Texas heat....it was around 98 today....although it is hot in quite a lot of the country currentl

Hi! I'm in Houston - or at least getting treated there. I am at MD Anderson, so it's sort of one stop shopping. I haven't had recon yet, I'd be happy to give you my PS's name, but it wouldn't be based on - wow, I have these great foobs. However, since it was the top cancer hospital in the country (US News & World Reports - I was trying to find some ranking for it), I guess she can't be too bad.

Thank you, Frill......I really appreciate your assistance😎 Yes, I would love to know the name of your doctor. You can PM if you like....how do you feel about your MO, and the rest of the team at MDA? I would love to hear what you think!
Even if I am in the clear for the moment( BI-RADS4, awaiting biopsy) I just found out that there is a new DX. of BC on the French-Canadian side of the family, and she discovered that she carries the PALB2 gene....I read it is somewhat common for those originating from the Quebec area of Canada...I do not originate from that area, but my mother's family does.
I need to make some decisions soon.
