Is anyone else have had an organ transplant?

Hi. Biopsy was done May 9th and I am still waiting for surgery and a little antsy because initially I couldn't feel anything and now I feel like i can, although power of suggestion always makes me wonder if that is a factor with that. The biopsy showed both DCIS and IDC and was HER2 and estrogen +. DCIS part is grade 3 and the invasive part is Grade 2 (7 out of 9). I don't know the size for sure except that the microcalcifications are 6 cm. Tumor Board met and is strongly recommending mastectomy so I have chosen BMX and DIEP flap. Genetics still not back.

I have had a heart transplant so I have had to have additional evaluations due to that and have been all cleared by cardiology to have the surgery and subsequent treatment. I just wonder if anyone else has developed breast cancer after receiving an organ transplant?

    Hey Mae! You really have had some challenges in your life! What stage are you? There are many active threads on the menu where you can get love and support. Keep reaching out. You will get a lot of support and information! This is a tough time for sure. I had a double mastectomy, chemo and radiation by just putting my head down and plodding through. Whining is required!!!
