Complex Cyst tums out to be malignant?

Anyone here first told you had a complex cyst to then later be told it was malignant?

    I think I read that only about 1/2 to 1% of complex cysts turn out to be malignant or associated with a malignancy. Virtually none

    I have had a few complex cysts that have been there since 2012 and they have had no changes. They are just watching them. I have to go back in 6 months for another ultrasound and mammogram. I will be hoping that they change me back to annual screenings afterwards. (I just had a biopsy for unrelated cluster of microcalcifications -all benign findings too).

    Thanks Amy. I had to read up on them since that is what my last biopsy ended up being. They are so low malignancy rate I wonder why they don't just observe them
