It's been a summer of excess bunny rabbits and snakes. Both cotton head and copperhead. Both poisonous. I hate all snakes
Here's is one dh killed minus the head. Must be nearly 6'
Thank god for my strong. Courageous hubby.
-
Yikes! That gives me the hibbie jibbie.
-

Glad you are doing better!
I would never dare go outside if there were snakes like that lurking about!!!
-
holy crapola! That is one long snake!!!! I would freak out. We had a black snake in our garage yesterday...which they are good snakes to have and we won't kill them, but I don't want it sitting next to me either! I was acting all big and bad to dh, who was kind of jumpy. Well after that thing started to mo e toward me I was dancing! It took us 30 minutes to get it out! We still have stuff we haven't unpacked or taken to the dump! It kept climbing up something else or under the freezer...aaaaaahhhhh!
And a hallelujah for your hip pain being gone!!!! For good we be great! I'm so happy to hear that you are tolerating this new drug pretty well. All my fingers and toes and even my eyes will be crossed for you! I just started going to a new bible study group. Could I lift your name up in prayer with them
-
That snake is super creepy! Huge one to find lurking around. Scary you have 2 kinds of poisonous snakes to deal with.
-
Yikes.....I thought worrying about bears and coyotes was bad! That is HUGE! And yes, thank God for our strong and brave hubby's! LOL! I am sooooo glad you are getting some relief Patty and hope it gets even better and goes on and on.......happy summer!
-
ewe. Bears and coyotes. Sounds way scarier.
Kjones. Yes please on the prayers
I am back in the hospital. Got here Sunday. Same ole. Vomiting, diahrea, fever and pain. Haven't kept any food down yet. Ugh. Good news is still no hip pain. Back pain is still unbearable.
Thanks for the support ladies
-
I am so sorry to hear of your pain. Sending my best wishes to you Patty.
-
oh patty no no no!!!! Keep us posted. You're in our thoughts always. Feel better soon.
Hugs,
Cathy
-
Oh geez, I am so sorry to hear that. Hang in there!
-
Aw Patty, not again! Hopefully a short stay this time. Prayers, love and hugs coming your way.
-
thanks ladies
I forgot to day my ds1 broke his collarbone on Saturday in a 4 wheeler accident. All though he is sore and out of sports and most activities for 8 weeks I am so thankful it was not worse. Could have just as easily been a slip open head instead.
Then our dog of 14 years died yesterday. She had bc for over 3 years. Sunday she went blind and dead.inday couldn't walk or stand. Glad to see she didn't have to suffer long. Been super hard on my ds's
And when they both need me so,,,, here I am in the hospital. Ugh.
Feeling ; Miserable I am not home with / for them.
Ugh
-
Aw geez Patty, when it rains it pours. Glad your son's accident wasn't worse but still, poor thing.
So sorry for doggy, so darn hard losing a pet we love. Wish I could come and visit you and cheer you up.
-
oh patty you just can't catch a break... How much can one person take??? So glad your son is ok. What do they do for a broken collarbone? How old is he? And your dog died and you are in the hospital!!! Sending you healing thoughts and hugs. Stay strong! Hugs,
Cathy
-
Good glory Patty....Today I am dedicating my prayers to you, that someone upstairs can just give you a break already. I hope the hospital stay is VERY short and you can get back home to those boys. Is there not anything they can do for your back pain? That must suck all the energy you need to fight off the other symptoms. Thank goodness you DS's accident wasn't worse! Feel better Patty.
-
So sorry about DS's accident & your dog. Those pets become important members of our families! Thank goodness DS is okay!
-
Oh Patty, what a run of hard hits for you!
Fingers crossed they can patch you up at the hospital and send you home again - your sons' precious summer holiday is already turning back to the school year.
And you so deserve a break!
much love & light, Patty, Stephanie
-
Patty, so sorry to hear you are in the hospital again! Hope you and your son are feeling better soon. So sorry about the loss of your dog...they truly are family members and losing them are very hard
-
Patty, that is so hard on you all that coming at once, any of that would be tough if you were in full health. Praise God your DS is OK. My DD had a bike accident exactly a year ago, smashed her 2 front teeth. Could just as easily have been her head as she (without our knowledge) had taken her brother's ADULT bike up the road, and no helmet. She was not used to the weight of the bike and miscalculated a turn. Like you, first thought was thank God it was not worse. RIP to your dear dog. I hope you are feeling so much better ASAP. XXX
-
good morning.
Thanks for the much needed support
I am starting to feel better. Didn't get much sleep last night but know does in the hospital. Iv pain meds always give me the strangest dreams.
Ds id in a sling for 6-8 weeks They came up last night and it was awesome to see them.
Hugs all around
-
My dear Patty, that's so much to handle at once. I'm so glad DS's accident wasn't worse, although a broken collarbone is scary enough. I hope he can find so other things to do during his recovery. Has he caught the Pokemon Go craze? My daughters now go for walks just to catch their Pokemon critters. They meet other friends in the park.
I'm so sorry about your beloved dog. They do wrap their tails around our hearts.
Praying they can get the V/D, fever and pain all under control soon, so you can be back home with your precious boys. Gentle hugs, and lots of prayers. Madelyn
