    Epstein-Barr virus. About 95% of Americans have contracted the virus before age18, most commonly as mononucleosis. EB is thought to be a factor in certain cancers.

    Honestly, how can they tell? Everyone who has ever had EB had antibodies. I think this may cause great alarm in the general populace.
