A) Right breast microcalcifications #1, SCNB and vacuum

Diagnosis:

removal:

- Benign breast tissue with stromal fibrosis, adenosis,

microcystic ducts, and apocrine metaplasia.

- Calcium oxalate crystals involving microcystic ducts

identified.

B) Right breast microcalcifications #2, SCNB and vacuum

removal:

- Benign breast tissue with stromal fibrosis, adenosis,

microcystic ducts, and apocrine metaplasia.

- Calcium oxalate crystals involving microcystic ducts

identified.

C) Left breast microcalcifications, SCNB and vacuum removal:

- Benign breast tissue with stromal fibrosis, microcystic ducts,

ruptured cyst, columnar cell change and focal intraductal

epithelial hyperplasia without atypia.

- Calcium oxalate crystals involving microcystic ducts

identified.

COMMENT: The calcifications in these biopsies correlate with those seen on the specimen radiographs.


No cancer but what is all this mess?
