Leg & joint pain while taking tamoxifen

Has anyone else experienced this type of pain. I've only been on tamoxifen for about 6 weeks and each day the pain in my legs , thighs & calfs got worse. After stopping med, my pain has improved tremendously.

Considering not restarting the tamoxifen. With love to get input from those who experience this type of side effect.

    Change brands. It's usually the fillers that cause the pain, not the drug itself. GG

    Thank you for your post, I will speak with my doctor about that. They want me to try and restart the meds to see if the symptoms return, but I'm really opposed to that. Again thanks.

    I've been on tamoxifen for 6 months and about 1 month ago I started having leg and hip pain. This pain was caused by exercises I normally have been doing. I'm not sure if it's from the tamoxifen or I'm experiencing some arthritis.

    For the first 8 months, I had foot cramps. My pharmacy changed manufacturers and the cramps have gone away.
