ball
-
chef, gotta love 70's British glam rock! I'll still turn that one up when the oldies station plays it.
Red Rubber Ball - IDK the artist but the lyrics go like this:
And I think it's gonna be all right / Yeah, the worst is over now / The mornin' sun is shinin' like a red rubber ball.
Morning
-
Badger, I am stuck in the 60's and 70's music scene mentally. Very little new music in my ipod. Rock, Blues, Oldies but goodies, motown, some opera and classical. I so miss the concert scene.
Morning has broken
Cat Stevens
ripple
-
Ripple - Grateful Dead. LOVE this song. Have seen them live - EPIC!
This is the studio version but well worth a listen. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=671AgW9xSiA
If my words did glow with the gold of sunshine
And my tunes were played on the harp unstrung,
Would you hear my voice come through the music?
Would you hold it near as it were your own? It's a hand-me-down, the thoughts are broken,
Perhaps they're better left unsung.
I don't know, don't really care
Let there be songs to fill the air.Ripple in still water,
When there is no pebble tossed,
Nor wind to blow.Reach out your hand if your cup be empty,
If your cup is full may it be again,
Let it be known there is a fountain,
That was not made by the hands of men. There is a road, no simple highway,
Between the dawn and the dark of night,
And if you go no one may follow,
That path is for your steps alone.Ripple in still water,
When there is no pebble tossed,
Nor wind to blow. You, who choose to lead, must follow
But if you fall you fall alone.
If you should stand then who's to guide you?
If I knew the way I would take you home.La Dee Dah Dah.....
I see live music at every opportunity. Free concerts are the best cuz my budget is limited. Fortunate to have Madison nearby which is the cap city and a big enough market to attract quality acts for a reasonable price.
OK back to the game :-)
