    Hi Lovebird65,

Thank you for your kind thoughts. I haven't posted in awhile so thought I would give an update. I am stage 3a this time and have already finished chemo...could only have 4rounds of tc as I had already had adriamycin the last time. I am now having radiation...33 treatments. Also have started taking Femara, and I am so going to try and take it for as long as I need it. So far side effects are not bad. I actually look forward to taking that little yellow pill everyday! :-) I am a christian also and He has been with me every step of the way. Your story sounds something like mine...i had bc 10 years ago and my dh was diagnosed with non-hodgkins lymphoma 4 years ago and at the same time he was in treatment I was also caring for my mother in our home...she was blind and had dementia and heart desease. She passed away very peacefully at our home while dh was in chemo. I hoped I would never have to go thru anything like that again. And now this. But thankfully, Drs. Are saying my dh is cured of NHL.

So sorry to hear this. I always wonder if mine will come back or in the other breast. They tell me letrozole is supposed to help prevent this from happening. You beat it once and you can do it again. I can only imagine how sad and frustrating this must be for you. It's certainly unfair. Try to keep connected with someone to support you. I hope your medical team is very supportive. Your feelings are valid, whatever they may be. I'll be praying for you.

I'm so sorry you have to go through this again, but my oncologist said I had 8 years between the 2nd and 3rd BC, and that indicated good results. It was 16 yrs. between the first and second BC. Hope this helps.
