Help please I had 3 Stereotactic vacuum biopsies today

They wrapped me TIGHTLY in ace bandages and I think they are making my breasts hurt worse. I am supposed to stay in them for 48 hours. I swear my breast are touching my bottom lip. lol

Anyone else have this? I have a very high pain threshold and this hurts like heck. Tylenol is like candy. No effect at all. I wonder if a compression sports bra would work just as well without the added pain?

I've read how everyone was able to go about their day afterwards and some even went back to work. I didn't expect this.

    Deb, I am so sorry you are in so much pain. I had my stereotactic biopsy three years ago and do not remember all the details but I was not in much pain and was not wrapped in anything. I remember they told me to apply ice and take Tylenol but I don't remember any compression recommendations. Maybe you can call he nurse at the interventional radiology where the biopsy was done and ask?

    Thank you. I had left my instructions in the car. My husband finally got home, got the papers out of the car and we called. I have to keep the compression wrap (ace bands) on because I have a bleeding disorder but she had him rewrap me. The bands were pulling on the steri strips. I have A LOT less pain now. Thank God.
