Any tips for dealing with nerve pain?

I had a lumpectomy last week and everything is healing fine until today. I realized that I have numbness and tingling in the u service of my arm close to where my nodes were removed. It's a stabbing intermittent pain that is awful.

Anyone have any tips for what will help this? I'm doing my exercises and also massaging it. Massage seems to help but not much else. HELP!

There is medication specifically for nerve pain. The one I take is called Lyrica (pregabilin).

After a UMX and many nodes removed, I had stabbing intermittent pain for years

in node area. I still get it once in awhile 5 years out. My numbness has never improved

but the pain certainly has.

thank you ladies.. I see the BS on Monday and will consult. A series of gentle massages has helped along with muscle relaxants, and it's improving, so I'm grateful it was temporary.

Any tips for dealing with nerve pain?
