Barbski, do you know why your tumor was classified as Stage 1B and not 1A? Yours seem to be less than 1cm, grade 1 and all your lymphnodes were clear.

My tumor was 1.8 cm (large than yours), grade 2/3 (worst) and all nodes clear and doctor said I was stage 1A.

I am trying to understand how the letters (A,B and C) are determined.

thanks FUBC and Maya 15 (and everyone)

It is encouraging that you both have received such good results from the PT for the cording and pain. I've watched a few videos and am attempting to massage the areas and it does seem to help with the discomfort. although the cording remains prominent. Has anyone experienced relatively pain/sensation free days, and the next day it seems you're almost back to square one? I've started calling the bad days my "screaming me-me" days as it seems like the nerves will rest for a day and come back to life the next screaming "I'm baaaack, thought you got rid of me, huh?". Lol.

FUBC, I too am interested in the a, b, and c classification for stage 1. I've not been successful in finding any info on this. I am actually classified as stage 1c but I believe I listed it as stage 1a. I hope your oncotype testing is approved soon. It is so frustrating how slowly these processes move. I too had to wait for my insurance carrier to cover.
