How long after diagnosis did you have to wait for treatment?

hi sweetie i was diagnosed in september then biopsy in october started chemo in october 3 months chemo before n after mastectimy. msphil. idc stage2 Lmast 3 mo chemo after rads 5yr on Tamoxifen. am this yr a 22yr Survivor. All while planning my wedding.

I was diagnosed (received results of biopsy when mammogram and ultrasound didn't show anything alarming) on June 1. I switched to a different BS and a different hospital and had my first appointment with him June 8. Had my mastectomy June 15. (Would have been earlier, but I had to wait for my partner to fly over to care for our daughter.) Pathology during follow-up on June 22. Saw my oncologist probably less than a week later. Chemotherapy starts July 20. This was my choice as I had to teach this weekend and wanted to be done with my classes first.
