Stereotactic biopsy - Drive myself

I have a question for those of you who have been through these biopsies.

Were you able to drive yourself to and from the biopsy? I am having 3 done in one day and wondering if I should have my husband drive me home. How did you feel afterwards and was driving difficult?

I was specifically told by the clinic that I would be able to drive after and I was fine. I stopped at the grocery store on the way home

I drove myself to this appointment as well. I went to work for a few hours, went to my appointment, and drove home (45 minute drive). They gave me an ice pack to place on the site, which seemed to help.

I only had one but driving after that was not a problem.

Great. Thank you ladies. I'll be driving myself. They told me I would be wrapped up in ace bandages for 48 hours. I'm in Texas. Thank God for air conditioning.
