Chemo. Lymph nodes

Hi. My partner had her mastectomy on June 6. She is due to start chemo next week as a "preventive" measure (stage 3). Also she had 4/24 nodes involved. I was wondering how bad this is and was the 6 week wait for chemo too long ?

    Hi there. Sorry you and your partner are going through this. I know you will find this forum both comforting and informative. Do you have any other information besides the stage? Grade? Hormone status? All these things will contribute to her prognosis. From what you have said it does not seem to me that the 3 week wait for chemo is a problem. Good luck and keep us posted....

    hi. The grade was 2. Hormone status was positive. The wait was 6 weeks :
