edited July 2016 in Waiting for Test Results

So I'm 30 with 2 young kids. I noticed a dimple in my left breast which I never noticed before. I went straight to gp expecting to be overreacting. Well she noticed straight away and she also 'felt something' like a ridging?

I've been referred to the breast clinic in a week time but the wait is killing me. She said 9/10 referrals are normal but im guessing that includes every lump and bump referral too?

Has anyone else had a dimple and 'something felt'? What did it turn out to be?

I'm kinda freaking out here! Thanks

Fortunately, your age is in your favor. At 30, your risk is 0.44%, or 1 in 227, according to the National Cancer Institute. Waiting sucks, I know. Things that helped me were furiously cleaning and watching HGTV and Food Network. Not even kidding. Anything that didn't have a plot or drama. Anything to keep my hands busy, other than being online. Remember that Dr Google is not your friend!

I have to wait 4 weeks :( I know how you feel. No puckering here, but a large palpable and visual lump.
