pain and itching a month after biopsy

I had my biopsy almost a little over a month ago. The test came back benign but due to rapid cellular activity I am getting a lumpectomy this week. The last couple of days I have noticed itching and mild pain about where the masses are. Has anyone had this symptom this far out after biopsy?

mine was bruised and itchy for at least a month. It stopped just after that. I normally heal very fast but the core biopsy too forever to heal.
