Lupron or Zoladex

Options

I'm on tamoxifien and lupron. I having been having discharge...a brown discharge. Has anyone else experienced this? My MO and Gyn don't appear concerned as they say it's a side effect. Although I have PCOS and not sure if I'm suppressed so my MO is talking about taking me off lupron. Although it looks like my recent labs show that I am suppressed. I'm trying to figure out what to do. Has anyone had PCOS and been on lupron or have these lupron side effects? It looks like she is going to take me off. I mentioned about switching to zoladex but she doesn't seem to want to do that. Has anyone else had trouble or switched?Appreciate any information or experiences. Thank you

I'm on Lupron and tamoxifen. I have never bled or had discharge. My OB/GYN said any time I bleed he would do a biopsy. Might want to get a second opinion?

I haven't taken Lupron. Had my first Zoladex shot and it isn't a simple one. It is injected in your belly every 28 days my nurse numbed the site with lidocaine because of the needle size. I'm considering a hysterectomy since this isn't a simple shot.

    Hi!

I'm on Zoladex and Aromasin. I've been on this regimen since February 2015. I have never bled or had any discharge, either. In contrast to FLBuckeye, I find Zoladex to be just like any other shot. Yes, the needle is big, and they are shooting a pill into your stomach. But, if you don't watch while it happens, it's just a quick stick and it's done. I don't get numbed. Frankly, I think the nurses suffer more than I do!

Hope your team finds out what's going on with you!
