We have no family history of BC, she doesn't have any symptoms before mammogram picked up the spot.

Her tumor is 1.8 cm tnbc IDC / DCIS , stage 1c ,neg nodes, clear margin, no L/V invasion, MX, with 4 A/C,12 DD Taxol, her onc is very confident of her prognosis, because of her age , no L/V invasion status and full treatment completion.

My question is : the old age at DX is really a plus or minus effect regarding early stage tnbc?

like your doc said, she has a good prognosis because of the stage one and she finished all her treatment -I don't think age has anything to do with it

if she had a garden variety BC (ER+ PR+ Her2-) and older then that would work for her as those cancers are generally less aggressive in older women (but not always - ) -unfortunately tnbc is aggressive at any age but like I said above she has a good prognosis because of her staging and she was able to finish all her treatments - remember tnbc responds very well to chemo

AC-T is tough at any age - glad she was able to get though it!

Thank you for the response . I did get info from Internet exactly the same as you said, the old age has even slightly disavantage reg tnbc.

The 16 rounds DD chemo indeed was very very tough on her.
